PPD caught the murderers who killed 19 year old Nathanial Navarro in Satsuma Park last week. ⚠️

Last week, we posted a video seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a female who was depicted in some surveillance footage our investigators obtained during the course of a homicide investigation at 1001 Satsuma St. (See link below for original post.) Since then, our investigators have worked diligently on all leads in order to bring this case to a successful close. They have since identified all persons involved, and charges of Murder and Tampering with Evidence/Human Corpse have been filed on Jeanette Clifton, Serenity Delgado, and Cruz Martinez.
See the attached press release for additional information.

Press Release: β€œOn Thursday, November 2, 2023, at approximately 2:30 a.m., our dispatch center received a call about a possible shooting at Satsuma Park. The caller reported that a vehicle had crashed at the park, and they heard multiple gunshots. The witness further stated that a male and a female pulled a body out of the vehicle and left it in the park before fleeing on foot. Officers immediately responded to the area where they found the victim, later identified as 19-year-old Nathanial Navarro, who suffered from a gunshot wound to the upper torso. Navarro was pronounced deceased on the scene.
During the initial investigation, investigators obtained surveillance footage and posted it to our social media platforms. As a result, Jeanette Lea Clifton, W/F 12/12/04, was identified as the individual in the footage. Clifton voluntarily came to the station to provide a statement. Investigators were then able to obtain corroborating information and subsequent evidence implicating Cruz Isaiah Martinez 1–11M 9/1/()5 as the shooter in this case and Serenity Delgado H/F 3/16/03 as a third suspect.
It was later determined that Clifton, Delgado, and Cruz all conspired to meet with Navarro under the guise of purchasing illicit drugs. Once Navarro arrived in the park, Martinez shot at him while he was still inside his vehicle. Both Delgado and Martinez then removed Navarro from his vehicle and dragged his body several hundred yards to a nearby wooded area.
Charges of Murder and Tampering with Evidence/Human Corpse were filed on Jeanette Lea
