A lot of people who come visit us miss this sweet smile. When they walk by Jimmy Chew’s kennel, it might seem like he’s indifferent or shy or scared because he doesn’t look up. But that’s not it at all.
He’s deaf.
He can’t hear people coming up, so if he doesn’t happen to see you standing there, he doesn’t know to come over.
But believe us when we say, if he knew you were there, he’d be interested. In fact, he’d probably come running.
This sweet guy loves people. He loves to go for walks, loves to be by your side, loves to go outside and feel the sunshine on his face. He loves to play with other dogs. He even loves photo filters (or our staff members just think he has the perfect face for them 😁).
