The Police Department is accepting applications for our Citizen’s Police Academy Class 47! If you would like to learn about the inner workings of the Deer Park Police Department this is the class for you. You must be at least 18 years of age, (no age limit on the flip side), you must also live, work, or attend school or church in the City of Deer Park. Classes meet on Thursday nights from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., and it’s free!

The Deer Park Police Department is proud to announce the upcoming Citizen’s Police Academy Class 47! This class is designed to give citizens a chance to learn about the inner workings of the Deer Park Police Department. This is a great opportunity for those who are interested in learning about law enforcement and the tools and techniques used to keep the citizens of Deer Park safe.

Participants must be at least 18 years of age and live, work, or attend school or church in the City of Deer Park. Classes will be held on Thursday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and are free of charge. The curriculum will cover topics such as patrol operations, crime scene investigations, criminal investigations, defensive tactics, and more. Participants will also have the chance to tour the police station and observe a variety of police operations.

The Citizens Police Academy is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the Deer Park Police Department and the law enforcement profession. Participants will gain a better understanding of the duties and responsibilities of police officers, as well as the tools and techniques used to keep the community safe. It is also an opportunity to meet and interact with police officers and other members of the community.
