Memorial swim and dive team results at the Gulf Coast Scholastic Aquatic Conference Championships. Warning it’s more lines than We Are The Champions. Congratulations!

Congratulations to the Pasadena Memorial swimming and diving team for their success at the Gulf Coast Scholastic Aquatic Conference Championships held this past Friday at Shippey Aquatic Center. The girls team won the championship title over six other teams, while the boys team finished in fifth place.
Those swimmers and divers placing Top Eight in their individual events, and scoring team points include:
Levi Del Angel: 1st place: 200-yard Freestyle and 1st Place: 100-yard Breaststroke
Kailey Montoya: 1st place: 200-yard Freestyle and 1st place: 100-yard Breaststroke
Mikayla Williams: 2nd Place: 1-meter Diving and 4th place: 100-yard Breaststroke
Christina Guzman: 2d Place: 500-yard Freestyle and 4th place: 200-yard Freestyle
Mia Gomez: 3rd place: 200-yard Freestyle and 4thplace: 200-yard Freestyle
Ace Ly: 2nd place: 100-yard Backstroke and 6thplace: 100-yard Freestyle
Jenae Flores: 4th place: 100-yard Freestyle and 6thplace: 50-Freestyle
Madison Arcizo: 5th place: 100-yard Breaststroke and 7th place: 50-yard Freestyle
In the relay events, the foursome of Madison Arcizo, Jenae Flores, Mikayla Williams, and Christina Guzman combined to place second in both the 400-yard Freestyle Relay and 200-yard Freestyle Relay.
Also, Carla Diaz, Kailey Montoya, Mia Gomez, and Gwendalyn Alvarado teamed up to take third in both the 200-yard medley relay and 400-yard Freestyle Relay.
