Deer Park ISD school year begins August 17th. Here is a quick reminder to be mindful at pedestrian crossings, especially in a school zone. School crossing guards have the same authority as police officers, to direct traffic, in a school crossing zone. As the driver, you must obey the school crossing guards when they are performing crossing guard duties in a crosswalk.
