LPPD has stepped up presence at all LPISD campuses to ensure students’ security.

We hope everyone is starting off the school year on the right foot! You may have noticed an increased amount of officer presence at your school. We are proud to announce that all LPISD campuses will have an officer present during school hours year-round. This includes the high school, junior high, middle school, and elementary schools. While at the schools, the officers will become familiar with the staff and the campus layout, ensure all doors remain locked, engage with the students, and stay visible throughout the day. The top priority of these officers is to ensure the safety of the students and staff members. If you see one of us, feel free to stop and say hello. We’d love to get to know you!
