The story of the influential McMasters family just got bigger at the Heritage Park & Museum.

📞Calling all Museum Enthusiasts!! We have some exciting news to share with you‼ Recently, we had a very special visitor at the Museum who brought us a treasure trove of historical documents that trace back the history of the McMasters family in Pasadena, Texas. We are thrilled to announce that we will be showcasing these documents at the museum, giving visitors a unique insight into the remarkable story of this influential family.💝

In 1911, a beautiful union of marriage between Gerturde McMasters and John Pomeroy took place at the home of her brother Clyde McMasters. Clyde was a gifted mechanic who teamed up with John’s water well expertise to establish the McMasters and Pomeroy water well drilling company in 1912. The two men went on to drill over 2000 water wells in Texas, helping to shape the history of Pasadena and beyond. You can see a water well that the families used in their company as you tour the property.
