🤡’s Laura and Mya were busted by Precinct 8 Deputy Ramirez for meth and Xanax.

ASSAULT SUSPECTS ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF NARCOTICS

On Friday, May 10, 2024 at approximately 7:22 AM, Precinct 8 Deputy Ramirez with Constable Phil Sandlin’s Office was dispatched to an assault call in the 300 block of Viceroy Dr. Upon arrival, Deputy Ramirez was advised the two female suspects involved left the scene leaving their vehicle behind. Deputy Ramirez observed the suspect vehicle to be illegally parked and had it towed. At approximately 10:50 AM, Deputy Ramirez was dispatched to the storage lot in the 8000 block of Galveston Rd where the two female suspects were located. Deputy Ramirez arrived on scene and identified 38 year old Laura Maria Espinoza and 19 year old Mya Renee Espinoza. A check of Laura’s information revealed an open warrant for Probation Violation. Before placing Laura in custody, Laura was observed handing over a crumpled dollar bill to Mya. Deputy Ramirez confiscated the contraband and located 1 gram of methamphetamine. A further search of the vehicle yielded 64.4 grams of Alprazolam.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and accepted charges for Possession of Controlled Substance on both Laura and Mya. Both subjects were transported to the Harris County Joint Processing Center where Laura’s bond was set at $7,500 and Mya’s bond was set at $2,500.
