The Pasadena Police Department documented 64 vehicle crashes just last week,18 of which resulted in significant damage and injuries.
This monthly crash map provides a visual representation of the areas in Pasadena where most of the crashes occurred. It identifies high-risk areas, shown in red, which are often major intersections.
Crashes are often attributed to excessive speed and inattention caused by cell phone use. As a community, all of us need to contribute to a safe commute by remaining alert and off the phone, wearing seatbelts, and obeying all traffic laws. By doing so, we can reduce the number of crashes and the injuries and damage that come along with them.
