Chamber President Cristina Womack, along with inspiring speakers, celebrated the momentous 100th Anniversary of National Women’s Equality Day.

Pasadena Chamber President and CEO Cristina Womack was honored to attend today’s 100th Anniversary of National Women’s Equality Day at HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast.

This significant milestone offers a moment to reflect on the progress made in advancing women’s rights and to renew our commitment to gender equality. National Women’s Equality Day marks the pivotal moment when the 19th Amendment was certified, granting women the right to vote. It is not only a celebration of this historic achievement but also an opportunity to address ongoing challenges and envision the future of equality.

Pictured here are a few of today’s guest speakers, who are all wonderful Pasadena Chamber members:
Yasmene McDaniel, CEO of HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast
Dr. DeeAnn Powell, Superintendent of Pasadena Independent School District
