Senior students from Dr. Kirk Lewis Career and Technical High School visited the Pasadena Police Station to learn about the divisions and components required to run a police department. The students were highly engaged, asking many questions as they explored everything from the journey of becoming a police officer at the academy to the structure of our department and the activation process in our Emergency Operations Center. They gained insight into all the divisions and administrative support that work together to help our community prevent and combat crime. A special thank you to everyone who shared their expertise from each department, including Logistics and Planning, Records, Property, the Community Center, EOC, Jail, Juvenile Division, and the Crime Scene Unit.
