STREET CRIMES RECOVER NARCOTICS IN DRUG TRAFFICKING INVESTIGATION
On November 5, 2024, Precinct 8 Deputies with the Street Crimes Unit received an anonymous tip of a vehicle trafficking narcotics. The vehicle was located in the 3900 block of Shaver St. While conducting an investigation, Deputies detected the odor of marijuana inside the vehicle. Deputies conducted a probable cause-based search of the vehicle and located 10 kilograms of methamphetamine. As a result of the findings, two suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Harris County Joint Processing Center. The suspects information is being withheld at this time due to an ongoing investigation.
