Deputies with Harris County Constable Precinct 2 were patrolling the South Sam Houston Parkway East when they conducted a traffic stop for an expired registration. During the stop, the driver stated they had no valid ID or driver’s license and proceeded to provide false names and birthdates—twice. After unsuccessful attempts to verify their identity, deputies requested assistance from a Mobile AFIS (Automated Fingerprint Identification System) unit. A fingerprint scan revealed a confirmed warrant hit. The driver was positively identified as 37-year-old Natalia Saldana, who had an active probation violation warrant. Ms. Saldana was taken into custody and booked into the Harris County Jail without incident. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted charges of Failure to Identify to a Peace Officer (Fugitive).
