The La Porte Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect depicted in the attached video. This young man was captured on video stealing a bicycle from an elderly victim on the afternoon of June 17th while at the Dollar General store in the 1200 block of South Broadway.
After holding the door open for the elderly victim, this thief entered the store behind the victim but left shortly afterward, taking the victim’s bicycle and leaving the store with it while the victim was shopping. If you recognize this individual, please contact C.I.D. Secretary Amy Haire at 281-842-3173 and pass on any information you may have.
