Precinct 8 Deputy Bullock tackled a peculiar case of a New Jersey 🤡 using a fake Texas ID to swipe a credit card.

On July 25, 2025, Deputy A. Bullock was dispatched to a suspicious person located at the 19400 Gulf Freeway. Deputy Bullock made contact with the Reportee who stated that a male was attempting to open a credit card with a potentially fraudulent Texas Driver’s License. The Reportee stated that the Texas Driver’s License was observed to have discrepancies. The Reportee further stated that upon entering the information into the store database, it was flagged as fraudulent by the company’s fake ID detection system.

Deputy Bullock made contact with the suspicious person, who would later be identified as 29 year-old Olabode Emmanuel Olaseinde, of New Jersey. Through Deputy Bullock’s investigation it revealed the fraudulent Texas Driver’s License did belong to a real person with the same Driver’s License name and number. The victim was contacted and confirmed that he did not know or give permission to Olaseinde to use his personal identifying information and wanted to pursue charges.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted, and the felony charge of Fraudulent Use of Identifying information was accepted. Olaseinde was transported to JPC where he was booked in without incident. A criminal background check of Olaseinde revealed he has been arrested several times in various states for Fraud related charges.
