Caller reported a possible intoxicated male outside their apartment, knocking on the front door and refusing to leave. Upon arrival, the Deputy observed a male matching the description standing in front of the caller’s residence. While conducting a field interview, the male suddenly turned and fled on foot. After a brief foot pursuit, the subject was tased and successfully detained. Paramedics were called to the scene; the individual was medically evaluated and cleared. ADA Darwin was contacted, and charges were accepted for Evading Arrest on Foot. Additionally, an active warrant for the subject was confirmed. No injuries to Deputies were reported.
