State’s witness Evan Jorris, under a government protection program after testifying against the mob, has a wife, Francine, who along with her lover, lawyer Larry Craig contrives to do away with her husband, confident that Evan’s protector, federal agent Bert Marshak, will assume logically, that the mob did the deed, and never suspect the two of them.
