🚔 Narcotics Arrest – South Sam Houston Parkway East
Deputies with the Harris County Constable Precinct 2 Office, under the leadership of Constable Jerry Garcia, were patrolling the South Sam Houston Parkway East when they observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed — 75 MPH in a posted 45 MPH zone.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted, during which narcotics were discovered.
The driver, 21-year-old Eder Avila, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and transported to the Harris County Jail.
