Antonio the 🤡 led Precinct 8 Deputy Cartlidge on a wild foot pursuit through an apartment complex, only to be tased and locked up.

On July 15, 2024 at approximately 3:07 PM, Precinct 8 Deputy Cartlidge with Constable Phil Sandlin’s Office was dispatched to a disturbance at an apartment complex located in the 4300 block of S Shaver. The reporting witness stated there was a male who appeared to be on drugs in a vacant apartment. As Deputies approached the apartment unit, they observed the suspect run through the apartment and jump out of an open window. Deputies pursued the suspect on foot and ultimately utilized their Taser to safely subdue him. The suspect was identified as 38 year old Antonio Proenza Perez. A check of Perez’s information revealed an open warrant through Bexar County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies conducted a search of Perez’s belongings and located a BB gun, a crowbar and 10.5 grams of methamphetamine.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and accepted additional charges for Evading Arrest/Detention and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Perez was transported to the Harris County Joint Processing Center where his bonds were set at $5,100 total.
