PPD’s camp memories were filled with laughter, learning, and adventures curated by amazing community partners.

Summer is winding down and as the first day of school quickly approaches, we can’t help but reflect on the fun memories we’ve had. We are endlessly fortunate to host our camp every June, giving children from our community the opportunity to connect with our officers in a fun and carefree environment. Our campers receive important lessons from various first responders, learning about fire safety and medical response, as well as seeing presentations from several police auxiliary units.

Pasadena ISD is always a huge supporter, this year allowing us to use Mae Smythe Elementary School as the home base for our activities. From there, we ventured out into the community to bowl, roller skate, bounce and explore at several wonderful venues in the area.

None of this would be possible without all of our generous and supportive sponsors. We truly could not manage such a big and important project without your continued backing.
