One of my favorite nights at the Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo each year is the Salute to Veterans. I enjoy the opportunity to meet so many of the brave men and women who have served our country and protected the freedoms we enjoy today. Last night, I had the honor of meeting Charles Mills, a remarkable 105-year-old veteran who proudly served in the Merchant Marines. My deepest thanks to all our Veterans for your service, and sincere appreciation to the Veterans Committee for your dedication and hard work.
