For generations, our department has been fortified by a group of officers that respond to calls in the worst of situations. Held to an immense standard they continuously strive to exceed, our SWAT team trains tirelessly to always be ready when Pasadena is in need of them. Many of our dedicated members have spent their careers pouring themselves into the team, researching the latest tactics and techniques and enlisting specialists from all over the country to help them grow and evolve. Their efforts are a direct reflection of their commitment to the police department, as well as the citizens of Pasadena.
Working hand in hand with SWAT, members of our Crisis Negotiations Team are also of the utmost importance on critical scenes. Our goal is always to end a situation with everyone’s safety in mind, so their contributions are pivotal to high stress scenarios.
