OPEN CALL FOR SCRIPT SUBMISSIONS:
* Short scripts on the theme of Love and Relationships for an upcoming production in the newly-renovated Black Box Studio Theatre at PLT.
* Original works by local playwrights are STRONGLY encouraged.
* Submissions will be considered for inclusion in the inaugural production of the Short Attention Span Series (SASS), Vol. 1 festival of shorts in March 2026.
* All selected short works will be featured in a fully staged showcase staged troupe-style by a cast of 6-8 actors, led by a collaboration of 2-3 directors.
REQUIREMENTS:
* All submissions must be 15 minutes long or less.
* Feature no more than 6 actors.
* Pertain to the theme of Love and Relationships.
* Only royalty-free submissions will be accepted at this time.
* Submissions must be received digitally no later than October 10, 2025 to be considered for this season’s SASS production.
