RECKLESS DRIVER ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH DEADLY CONDUCT
On Monday July 7, 2025, night shift deputies with Constable Jerry Garcia’s Patrol Division observed a vehicle performing donuts in a parking lot located at the 10500 block of the Gulf Freeway. The smell of burning rubber and smoke were immediately observed by the deputy. The deputy also observed various other persons and vehicles parked around the vehicle performing this reckless act and immediately pulled in to stop this action. As the deputy pulled in the driver quickly exited and attempted to drive off. The deputy quickly caught up to the vehicle and was able to perform a traffic stop. Upon stopping the suspect vehicle, an investigation was completed, and the driver was ultimately arrested and charged with Reckless Driving and Deadly Conduct for placing several people in the area in danger from her reckless driving. At this time the suspect, identified as 26 year old Connie Rosas was transported to the Harris County Jail without incident. Constable Garcia wants the public to know that his deputies take action every time to prevent these types of dangerous actions, which have caused recent injuries and deaths at local car meets.
Please stay safe and God Bless.
