Location: 8700 Spencer Highway
Evacuations: Residents near the fire are likely to be evacuated due to power loss. SETRAC is working on a potential evacuation for a nearby assisted living facility.
Shelter: San Jacinto College Central Campus is currently under a “shelter in place” order: https://x.com/ReadySanJac/status/1835698278782190073
Road Closures: Expect major disruptions around Spencer Highway and East Boulevard. Avoid the area!
Fire Status: Unified Command is established with Deer Park handling the west side and La Porte handling the east. A mobile command post is set up at East Blvd. and Spencer Hwy. HC Pollution Control is on scene.
