The Deer Park Police Department (DPPD) is excited to announce the addition of game-changing technology to its toolkit, thanks to the incredible generosity of OxyChem. DPPD has acquired two cutting-edge drones that will be instrumental in swift and effective search and rescue operations and enhanced situational awareness during emergency response incidents. With a flight ceiling of hundreds of feet, a range of several miles, and a top speed of 40 miles per hour, these drones will significantly boost the department’s ability to serve and protect the Deer Park community. The drones are small and agile and can search all different types of structures.
