During a Precinct 2 proactive patrol deputies stumbled upon a 🤡 passed out behind the wheel.

DWI Arrest Made During Proactive Patrol

While conducting proactive patrols, Harris County Precinct Two Deputies were flagged down by a local business owner who reported a male passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle. Deputies immediately conducted a welfare check and made contact with the individual.

Upon contact, deputies observed multiple signs of intoxication. The driver agreed to perform Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which confirmed impairment. He also consented to provide a breath specimen, which revealed his blood alcohol concentration was nearly three times the legal limit.

The individual, identified as Jairo Sabio, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon. He was transported and booked into the Harris County Joint Processing Center without incident.
