While proactively patrolling in the 14100 block of Dixie Farm Rd, a Precinct 2 Deputy discovered a vehicle crash resulting a car being in a ditch. Upon making contact with the driver to check for injuries, the deputy observed multiple signs of intoxication. The driver identify as William Alms, was asked to perform Standard Field Of Sobriety Tests. Following the assessments, Mr. Alms was transported to the Harris County Joint Processing Center, where a blood specimen was obtained. He then booked without incident.
