Each year, PPD Honor Guard travels to Washington D.C. to honor fallen officers. Tomorrow at 6pm bring the community together for a ceremony in front of the police station.

Every year, we are fortunate to send a team of officers from our Honor Guard to represent our department in Washington D.C. for the National Police Week ceremonies. Last night, our Honor Guard took part in a candlelight vigil, carried out in remembrance of fallen officers across the nation.

We would like to remind the community, that we will be holding a local ceremony in front of the police station tomorrow evening at 6pm in honor of Peace Officers Memorial Day. We encourage everyone to come out and join us as we remember those who lost their lives in the line of duty and celebrate the memories they left in their stead.
