Help PPD and victims find the elusive Thaddeaus Lewis, leaving a trail of stolen hopes and a felony charge on his back.

Do you remember the softball coach who conveniently disappeared before actually coaching his club team? After a multitude of alleged mishaps and a disconnected phone line, Thaddeaus Lewis finally made an empty promise to pay back all of the money he absconded with. Ultimately, though, no victims received reimbursement from Lewis.

Then, with the assistance of everyone who viewed and shared our social media post last month, additional victims from a crime streak that spanned four years of ill intent came forward and shared their similar experiences with Lewis.

Detective Satterwhite’s diligent work on this case and commitment to these families has now led to the Harris County District Attorney accepting charges against Lewis for Felony Theft. A warrant has been issued for his arrest, and officers are working to bring him into custody. If you or someone you know has information about Lewis’ whereabouts, please reach out to Detective Satterwhite at 📧 [email protected] or 📞 713-475-7892.

This case is the perfect example of how the community can take on an active role in our investigations. To that end, thank you to everyone who helped spread the word in this case; your actions make a difference. So, keep sharing, and Lewis’ case will be just one of many that we can bring to a close together!
