The Pasadena Police Department and Crash Reconstruction Team Officer Bearor are requesting the public’s assistance with any information related to a fatal hit-and-run incident as they continue to gather evidence.
The crash took place on August 8, 2024, shortly before 6:09 AM at 100 Southmore, just east of the Shaver Intersection.
In this incident, a dark-colored pickup truck struck a man on a motorized cart while he was in the crosswalk. The suspect fled the scene, driving eastbound on Southmore without stopping to render aid. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital by ambulance but later died due to his injuries.
