Detective Satterwhite of our Burglary and Theft Unit conducted an intricate investigation supported by JC Penney loss prevention and the Flock license plate reader system. The investigation led to felony theft charges against the male suspect, who embarked on a crime spree across central and south Texas, stealing thousands of dollars in jewelry. The suspect’s luck eventually ran out in Pasadena after he brazenly stole a 10k Yellow Gold 5ct 7.5″ Diamond Bracelet valued at $8,749.98. The suspect thought he had made a clean getaway, but Detective Satterwhite tracked down the suspect’s vehicle in the parking lot of a JC Penney in Rosenberg, locating and apprehending the suspect and ending the crime spree. Kudos to Detective Satterwhite for his investigative tenacity and for bringing this necklace nabber to justice.
