In honor of 9/11, Pasadena Police Officer Y. Peñaloza joined Pasadena Fire Department Captain J. Treviño and Probationary Firefighter J. Felan at Retro Fitness – Pasadena, TX and climbed the equivalent of 110 stories of the World Trade Center to pay tribute to the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001. Capt. Treviño stated that he, Felan, and Peñaloza climbed 110 stories because “on that day, FDNY had to start climbing before they could even render aid … and they didn’t quit, so neither did we.”
