SEARCH WARRANT LEADS TO FELONY ARREST On October 22, 2024, Precinct 8 Street Crimes Unit and Criminal Investigations Division with the assistance of Jerry Garcia, Harris County Constable Precinct 2 Special Operations Unit executed a search warrant in the 14600 block of Sun Harbor Dr. after a lengthy investigation regarding the sale of narcotics. During the search, Deputies located 6 lbs. of marijuana, 17 lbs. of illegal THC products, 11 grams of cocaine and 7 firearms. Additionally, $37,243 in U.S. currency was seized. As a result of the findings associated with the search, 37 year old Robert William Carnes was arrested and charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and felony Possession of Marijuana. Carnes was transported to the Harris County Joint Processing Center where his bonds were set at $20,000 total. The safety of our community is of our utmost importance.
