In a united effort, PPD officers in their Quality of Life Division and Precinct 8 Lieutenant Gonzalez transformed a neglected area under the bridge at Beltway 8 into a cleaner, safer space for everyone.

Recently, officers in our Quality of Life Division partnered with Lieutenant Mike Gonzalez, with Harris County Precinct 8 Constable’s Office, to clean out a homeless encampment that was set up underneath a bridge in the 2800 block of Beltway 8. Striving towards a common goal, officers with both agencies work tirelessly to control the homeless population in our area and keep the streets of our community safe and clean.
