In an game of hide and seek, Christopher the 🤡 thought he could outsmart Precinct 2 deputies but ended up in the pokey for tampering with evidence instead.

Evading and Tampering w/Evidence
On 2/23/25 event shift deputies with Constable Jerry Garcia’s office were dispatched to the 8500 block of the S Sam Houston Pkwy E in reference to a Theft call. Upon arrival deputies were advised that a male suspect was observed by loss protection tampering with security tags and hiding himself from camera view while inside the business. As deputies were speaking with loss prevention, the suspect was observed exiting the store. At this time loss prevention requested that the male suspect be identified and issued a criminal trespass warning due to his previous behavior. As deputies attempted to make contact, the male proceeded to evade on foot. After a brief chase deputies were able to safely detain the suspect without further incident. At this time 40 year old Christopher Goins was placed into custody for Felony Evading- Previous Convictions and transported to the Harris County Jail. Upon arriving at the jail, suspect Goins had been able to conceal a small plastic baggy containing narcotics. When deputies discovered the narcotics, Suspect Goins was able to grab the baggy and swallow it, along with its contents. After being evaluated at the hospital, Suspect Goins was transported back to jail, and now charged with Felony- Tampering with Evidence as well.
