Our department wants to extend a heartfelt “thank you” to everyone who came out to our ☕ Coffee with a Cop 👮♂️ event yesterday morning. Tostada Regia graciously hosted this event and made all of us feel like part of the family. We had an amazing turnout and more community engagement than we could have hoped for. Citizens came prepared with questions about department programs and outreach, as well as ideas to spread our voice into the Spanish speaking community.
JJ made the rounds, jonesing for treats from everyone’s breakfast 🥓, while Officer J. Carter got an opportunity to earn his keep, as he tried his hand at making fresh tortillas.
We are walking away from this event with a renewed sense of purpose and a list of ways we can continue to grow within the community!
