Earlier this month, JROTC and FFA students from area schools had the unique opportunity to attend an Army demonstration at the Pasadena Rodeo Arena. The U.S. Army 1st Cavalry Division Horse Cavalry Detachment from Fort Cavazos took students back in time with a demonstration that highlighted the history of the United States Army, which dates back to the Revolutionary War.
The US Army will be celebrating its 250th birthday on June 14, 2025, so this event served to commemorate the Army’s distinguished service to our nation, as well as offer students some perspective into the vast changes brought about by technology. Hopefully something these students will remember forever, we are grateful to have been included in this wonderful event!
