Last month, the American Legion 521 served a brunch for first responders, reminding everyone of the power of community support.

Last month, in honor of Martin Luther King Day, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 521 graciously provided brunch for local first responders. Ever the good host, representatives accommodated the often busy and unpredictable schedules of police and fire, providing a warm meal with a place to sit and visit or a to-go container, packed for those on-duty. With a breakfast spread that rivaled a Thanksgiving feast, the effort and consideration put into this gesture reminded everyone in attendance that we truly serve a community that bolsters its first responders.

Thank you again for the meal and the camaraderie; our department is endlessly grateful for your support!
