LPPD welcoming their newest protectors joining the crew as Probationary Police Officers.

Congratulations to all three-brand-new Probationary Police Officers (PPO’s). The cadets graduated tonight from the 86th Basic Police Academy with Pasadena Police Department. They will soon be sworn in by Chief Scott Pullig and will begin an extensive training phase with certified Field Training Officers from the La Porte Police Department.

The graduates completed the Civil Service Entrance Exam process, which hires the prospective officers, send them to a local certified academy, and then trains the PPOs in Department processes over the next six months.
