🐾Today is National Dog Day, and we want to recognize the dedicated dogs of the Pasadena Police Department. Our canines’ primary responsibility is assisting patrol and other divisions in searching and apprehending suspects, conducting narcotic searches in patrol and investigation scenarios, and investigating money seizures in relation to narcotics investigations. They also assist with warrant services and attend community events. We are grateful for the time each handler dedicates to building a bond with our canines; these canines serve as protectors and loyal friends, solidifying their role as not just dogs but members of our police family. 🐾
