The Pasadena Police Department Marksmanship Team (PPDMT) was created as a part of our Resiliency and Mentoring Program, similar to the Fitness Team you’ve seen us share recently. The Pasadena Police Department prioritizes our personnel’s overall health, and the Marksmanship Team is just one of many ideas the Resiliency and Mentorship Program has implemented. The R.A.M.P. program is built around the five pillars of wellness (mental, physical, social, financial, and spiritual), several of which are addressed by the Fitness and Marksmanship teams. The PPDMT recently participated in several competition pistol matches, including Wallis Orchard, Generation Practical Shooters, and Pearland Shooting Club. Members from all over the department, including Assistant Chief Dombrowa, attended these events and represented the department well!
