On Sunday, January 19, 2025, Night shift Deputies were dispatched to the 10200 block of Kittrell St. for a disturbance caused by a neighbor identified as Keith Cook. Cook began to throw bricks at the victim’s windows, causing extensive damage. The victims’ life was then threatened by Cook when she mentioned the presence of Law Enforcement. Deputies attempted to make contact with Cook, who was inside his residence, where he barricaded himself inside. Charges were accepted for Retaliation on Cook, for which a warrant was drafted.
Several hours later, Cook continued to throw items toward the victim’s residence, causing additional damage to the windows. Cook refused to come outside his home to prevent contact with law enforcement. Deputies spoke with Cook and a resident in the home, who once again barricaded themselves. The resident informed Deputies Cook had threatened her in the past if she opened the door for law enforcement.
Due to exigent circumstances, Deputies entered the residence and took Cook into custody. Cook had an active warrant and was taken into custody with an additional charge. All involved parties were not harmed.
