At lunchtime, students flock to the PISD PD office, not for trouble, but for the friendship and kindness of Officer Mendoza.

Who would’ve thought the police office would be a favorite lunch spot for some of our students? Not because they’re in trouble, but because of the relationships Officer Mendoza has built with these boys, and so many of our students. We are grateful for his presence on campus every day and especially grateful for the connections he makes with kids every day!
