PPD Officers from the Quality of Life Unit tackle challenges with heart, helping restore the city while assisting those in need.

They say officers wear many hats—and it’s true. From deterring crime and responding to emergencies to helping someone who’s locked out of their car or giving directions like a walking GPS, their work goes far beyond the badge.

One key responsibility the Pasadena Police Department proudly recognizes is the work of our Quality of Life Unit. Whether it’s addressing large homeless encampments or smaller areas of concern, these officers respond to every call with dedication and compassion, helping to restore the beauty of our city one call at a time.

In addition to clearing the space, they also connect individuals they encounter with available support services and resources, helping make a difference one step—and one call—at a time.
