PPD shines a spotlight on the incredible abilities of individuals with developmental disabilities and rally for inclusion and support their remarkable journeys.

๐ŸŒŸ March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month! ๐ŸŒŸ

This month, we celebrate the strength, talents, and contributions of individuals with developmental disabilities. It’s a time to foster inclusion, break down barriers, and amplify voices.

It is estimated that 1 in 6 children (aged 3-17) have at least one or more developmental disabilities. Some developmental disabilities include Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Dravet Syndrome, Epilepsy, Dyslexia, and Rett Syndrome.

Letโ€™s work together to build a world where everyone is valued, respected, and empowered to thrive! Ways we choose to show support is by attending the Special Olympics Texas Tip-a-Cop Event at Texas Roadhouse and by participating in events with Ainsley’s Angels in Texas athletes!
