This career is not always easy and is certainly not for the faint of heart. The lows can be particularly challenging, and the positive moments often don’t receive the recognition they deserve. That’s why our department makes it a point to highlight the good—recognizing the everyday efforts of those who serve our community. Last week, we held an award ceremony to recognize key contributions within our agency, highlighting our Ramp program, which focuses on mental resilience and peer support, as well as the faith and guidance provided by our Chaplain Division and community outreach initiatives in Pasadena, such as the PACE program. Please join us in congratulating all of these individuals who come together every day for something much larger than themselves.
