Telecommunicator Week is going strong, with an abundance of food and drink donations from officers and civilians, alike. Sweet treats were an added bonus, giving our dispatchers a pick me up throughout, what can be, a long and stressful shift. This is just a small way people have said thank you to the voices who stay calm under pressure, juggle a hundred things at once, and guide help exactly where it’s needed.
Our Police Service Officers also received a visit from several members of our Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, who provided them with gift cards to enjoy a nice meal with their families away from the workplace.
