🚨 Felony Evading & DWI Arrest – Toll Road Pursuit 🚨
On the South Sam Houston Tollway East, Harris County Constable Pct. 2 Toll Road Deputies attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding. The driver refused to pull over, initiating a 35-mile pursuit. The chase ended when a tire deflation device was successfully deployed, causing the suspect’s vehicle to strike crash barrels. Deputies from Precinct 2, with support from Precincts 3, 7, and 8, safely took the driver into custody. The suspect, 31-year-old Thomas J. Lawniczak, was arrested and charged with Felony Evading Arrest and Driving While Intoxicated. He was booked into the Harris County Jail. Stay safe and God bless!
