We are glad to share with you that the homeless encampment behind 11200 Gulf Freeway at the retention pond has been cleared and cleaned up. The clean-up was a task of planning and hard work in the making. This cleanup was a team effort, and it was great working alongside HPD’s Differential Response Team (DRT). We definitely want to give a BIG thanks to Carl with BIG Star Honda for stepping up and facilitating the cleanup.
Constable Jerry Garcia continues to remain focused on long-term solutions to recurring issues that impact the quality of life. We are aware of other encampments that exist and may need attention.
